P!ATD in Berlin, Germany

Berlin

A few years ago, I went on a vacation to Berlin with my best friend. It was one of my personal favorite holidays I’ve been on. The holiday itself wasn’t extremely special or anything, but I was just at a good time in my life. We went there at the end of 2016, I had just finished my exams, bought my first car and started working as an animator. Because I was in such a good mood, I just really enjoyed this holiday.

Recently I came across the video I filmed back then and got inspired to re-edit the video a bit and post it on my blog. I barely took any pictures, because I had the impulse to start filming instead. Maybe you get some inspiration from this video or see some interesting locations you’d like to visit.

As you can most probably tell, the main reason we visited Berlin was for the Panic! At The Disco concert, which was freaking awesome by the way!

For me it was the second time visiting Berlin. Even though we were in Berlin for just 3 days, we visited most of the places we wanted to see. Maybe in the future we’ll be back for more. If you’re curious to know what some of the places from the video were, I listed some of them below. Because I barely took any pictures, these are just screenshots from the video 😉

The most memorable thing

There is one thing we still talk about to this day. We were at the train station in the Netherlands and were already pretty late for our train. We quickly ran down the stairs to the platform where our train was departing, hoping we were still able to catch it. My friend was already a bit ahead, but I had trouble checking in. He just managed to get in to the train a view seconds ahead of me, but just before I could get on, the doors closed right in front of me. My friend quickly threw his arm between the closing doors managing to block the doors and keep them open long enough so I could step on. From time to time we still have a good laugh about it.
